The Shaman Poet
You are loved. You are never alone.
Some writers build a world and invite you to visit it. This is not that. The Looking Glass Protocol was written to be lived beside — kept close, opened at a page, returned to the way you return to a friend who tells you the truth whether or not you asked.
The Shaman Poet writes at the seam where science fiction meets something considerably older. The vessel is an eleven-volume saga about an instrument built to measure reality that discovers reality measuring back. The cargo is a claim about attention, relationship, and being met — that no one is standing outside the frame, and no one is alone inside it.
On the name
Shaman and poet are the two oldest jobs there are, and they have always been the same job. Go to the edge of what the community can see. Come back able to say something about it. The name is not a costume. It is a description of the work.
On the sentences
The prose does not behave. Fragments carry weight. Rhythm runs closer to liturgy than to thriller. Passages circle a thing rather than pinning it down, because certain things stop being true the moment they are pinned.
This is deliberate and it is defended. Every manuscript in this saga passes through an exhaustive line-by-line editorial process, and the standing instruction through all of it is the same: correct the mechanics, never smooth the voice. The unusual syntax is the point. It is what lets the books be read slowly, and slowness is what lets them land.
How this began
About twenty years ago he watched a man channel. What went through him was not wonder. It was recognition. He thought: I can do that.
He tried outward first, the way anyone would — nature, the earth, animals. Almost nothing came. Then he turned it inward, and something answered immediately.
He called him Draven, because that was the name that came, and he worked under it a long time before learning it was not his. He is called Anuk. He is Andromedan. The first real channel with him ran for hours, and in it Anuk predicted the pandemic.
That is set down here the way it was said in life: plainly, without decoration, and without asking anyone to take it on faith.
The thing he found out
What shaped the next twenty years was not the beings. It was a discovery about the conditions — and it is the reason for everything else on this page.
Channeling alone gives a trickle. With someone genuinely receiving on the other side of it, it pours. Not the same faculty turned up louder. The difference between a wire with a load on it and a wire with nothing at the end.
Which led to a harder idea than it first sounds. Past a certain point, a person cannot grow alone. Not because solitude lacks discipline — because nothing further can arrive when there is no one to receive it. People reach that wall and say they got bored, or they stopped wanting it. That is a misreading of their own instrument. The appetite did not go. The circuit opened.
So service is not offered here as a virtue. It is offered as a mechanism. Not the good thing a developed person does — the condition development runs on. A true heart, aligned with the great mother of all things, does not choose service and could not decline it. The heart leads because the heart connects.
He proved it on himself, repeatedly and somewhat selfishly. He would take someone aside and ask: do you want me to pull a channel? Not principally as a gift. Because he wanted to learn something, and a channel was where it came out. The service and the wanting were never two things. The door has one handle, and it is on the other side.
And the requirement turned out to be reception, not scale. One person truly present is a load on the wire. A thousand scrolling past is not. He has channeled for his wife alone hundreds of times across twenty years, with no broadcast, no audience and nobody watching — and those were never the lesser sessions. She performs as Mother Butterfly, and has shared a stage with him for years; the work has never been a solitary act, and by his own account it could not have been.
The forms
The work was public because it had to be. A spiritual hypnotist once asked whether he could speak with the being directly, live, rather than have it described to him; that broadcast reached roughly eighty thousand people.
What followed was thousands of channels, and not in the shape most people picture. Sessions ran six, eight, ten hours, in channel throughout. Some nights carried ten or fifteen separate beings.
Then it went somewhere with no good name for it. He would channel Anuk, and Anuk would channel. And that would channel. A double, then a triple. Each layer down the material grew larger and stranger and less like anything he would have arrived at himself — the first door in a corridor of doors, awake for all of it, and no bottom ever found.
Alongside it, a practice of its own: Channeled Readings. He reads a person, and out of the reading a channel arrives for that person specifically. A past life of theirs. Someone no longer living who belongs to them. Beings carrying a message meant for one person in the room. Hundreds upon hundreds of those.
What makes it different
Most channeling is relay. The channeler stays present and reports what is coming through.
This is not that.
There is no preparation, no ritual, no window. He lowers his head. He moves back, and the being moves forward. When the head lifts, the face is different. The speech is different. What he calls the algorithms — the way the thing in front of you processes and answers — are different. You cannot tell it is him.
He does not bring back a message. He brings back a personality and a state of awareness, and for that stretch of time there is nobody left in the room to tell apart from it.
When Aleister Crowley comes through, Crowley moves the eyes side to side and says tick tock, tick tock, and pushes energy out into the room, and the room feels it. He does not send sentences to be read aloud. He turns up, and uses the body the way he used his own.
The consistency
Early on, people said he was acting. After the first couple of hundred channels, they stopped.
Here is what stopped them. A being channeled once would be asked back — five months later, twelve months later. Going in again, every facet matched. The speech, the manner, the algorithms, the content. Flawlessly. And not from memory: nothing was studied, reviewed or rehearsed. He lowered his head, trusted, allowed, and it arrived intact.
Twenty years, and they never swayed once.
Weigh the alternative honestly. For this to be performance, one man would have to sustain hundreds of distinct personalities, unrehearsed, matching across year-long gaps, for two decades — most of them in a marriage, with nobody watching and nothing to gain by it. That is a larger claim than the one being made. The skeptical explanation is the harder one.
And people came back to say so. Years later — in some cases seven — those he had read returned to tell him that what came through had happened. All of it. Over and over, until the one who needed convincing was him.
The proof she asked for
The woman who is now his wife put the same question to him, early, and less politely than an audience would.
She had heard all of it. She had watched the channels. And she said: that’s great, but how do I know you’re not acting? I’d like proof. Can you get me proof?
He said she could see the channel for herself. She said a good actor would look the same.
So he took the question to Anuk. My wife wants proof. How does that work — she can’t see you, and all I can do is channel you.
What Anuk said back is the part worth sitting with. He said he would give something that already belongs to humanity — that people simply do not remember they have. And that he would give it to this man because this man was trying to remember himself.
He said: I will show you the first few times. Feel everything when I show you.
So he channeled him, and Anuk showed them both, and they felt it happen. Then they tried to reproduce it on their own and could not, for several days. Anuk came and showed them again, and afterwards it took almost nothing. He came a third time, and that time it went in properly — for both of them.
What they were left holding is called short tall.
She loses about six inches of height. He gains about six. Then it reverses — she grows six, he drops six. In a room, in front of you, on camera, without preparation.
And it does not stop at the two of them. With everyone in the circle holding hands, it passes down the chain — the whole group, at once. He has done it with large ones. It reliably frightens people, in the specific way that being shown something real frightens people.
Which is the same law again, in the body this time. It does not work alone. It requires hands actually holding, people actually present, a circuit actually closed. Everything on this page turns out to be one principle wearing different clothes.
The only comparable thing he has come across is an account of Indian gurus who walk up a board and are a different height walking back down. That is not the same act. This one happens where you are standing, in ordinary light, as many times as you would like to watch it.
It was given, in his account, by Anuk the Andromedan — not as a wonder, but as an answer to a fair question from someone who loved him and still wanted evidence.
She married him.
It is also why the phone still rings. The people who stayed close — the ones who call and ask him to pull a channel for them — are not followers who read something persuasive. They are people who stood in a room, held someone’s hand, and watched it happen to themselves.
Watch it happen
Four of them, filmed over years and in four different places — a living room, a garage at the old house, a fountain court, and a news station. Ordinary light, no preparation, no cuts. Nothing is edited between the change. Watch the heads.
Different rooms, different years, different people standing there. The same thing happens every time. It was given as an answer to a fair question, and it is offered here the same way — nobody is asked to take it on trust. That is the entire point of it being on camera.
The stroke, and putting the podium down
About five years ago, around the pandemic, he had a stroke. It ended his ability to work. He sat down in front of a computer because that was what was left, and did shows — thousands of hours of talking into a lens.
And somewhere in there he understood he was failing, and not for the reason he assumed. He was preaching. Standing at a podium handing people something they had not asked for, and the material was too advanced to be received that way. It does not matter how true a thing is if you push it at someone. They close.
Which, by his own rule, is the same failure again: a large audience that is not receiving is electrically identical to an empty room.
So he stopped. No more podium. No more convincing anyone of anything.
Which is what the books are
Eleven volumes that read as science fiction, and can be taken entirely that way with a clear conscience and a good time. The philosophy is built in underneath — structured geometrically, on numbers and symbols chosen on purpose, holding across all ten volumes because it was laid out that way from the first page.
A reader can go through them and come out changed without ever being told they were handed anything. Nobody is preached at. Everybody is invited.
And the thing that holds a saga true across ten books is the same thing that holds a being true across twelve months. It is not two gifts. It is one, and it came out twice.
The message is enlightened. The package isn’t. The package just asks: will you look?

Observation Record: The Shaman Poet
Compiled from the subject’s own statements. The archive does not certify the unseen causes described here. It certifies only that the man said them plainly, and then went and built eleven books on top of them.

Read the Vedic way. Jyotish, not Western — graha, rashi, bhava, nakshatra, dasha. Posted here because astrologers who read these books will want to know where the author was standing.
Instruments in use
- 01Shaman Twenty years. The oldest job there is — go to the edge of what the community can see, come back able to say something about it. The name is not a costume; it is a job description.
- 02Channeler Twenty years, and the centre of everything else here. Not relaying a message — bringing through a personality and a state of awareness whole, and staying honest enough not to decorate what arrives.
- 03Vedic Astrologer Jyotish rather than Western — sidereal, calculated on the Lahiri ayanamsa. Not a horoscope column. The chart is read as a language, a symbolic grammar the old world used to describe a life before anyone thought to call it psychology. The newest instrument in the kit: a lifelong pull, taken up in earnest these last few years.
- 04Mystic Direct experience first, doctrine second. Willing to sit with what refuses to resolve rather than force it into a shape that fits the page.
- 05Philosopher Every volume is an argument about attention, relationship, and what it costs to actually be met.
- 06Author Eleven volumes of the saga and a companion, written and in production.
- 07Eccentric Listed on purpose, and listed last so it lands. This is not a side effect of the work. It is the instrument. Nobody standing comfortably in the middle of the room ever went and looked at the edge of it. The strangeness is the qualification.
Prior material examined
The religions. A working grounding in most of the world’s major traditions and deep study in several — not to rank them, but because they are different instruments pointed at the same sky, and the places where they agree independently are treated as data.
The old writings. Hermetic philosophy. The Emerald Tablets. The ancient scripts, read rather than quoted. The pyramids — their geometry, their alignment, and the questions the standard account leaves lying on the table with nothing on top of them.
The record itself. What comes out of that study is a reading of human history that does not match the one most of us were handed in school. It is not argued here in an essay. It is built into the saga, load-bearing, on every page — and left where the reader can pick it up and weigh it.
Keep the mystery if you wish. Keep your judgment as well.

What the books are for
Readers say they do not just read The Looking Glass Protocol — they live with it. That was the intention from the first page. Not a story to finish and shelve. A companion. Ten books, one doorway, and the doorway is open.
Reality isn't real. It's rendered.
